Author Forward is The Book Bar’s commitment to honouring the value of authors — even in the secondhand space. We believe that stories don’t stop giving after the first sale. So why should author earnings?
What We Do
We offer a voluntary resale royalty to authors whose secondhand books we sell. Every time one of your books is resold through The Book Bar, you receive a between 5 and 10% royalty payment, twice per year.
How It Works
- You sign up using our quick Author Royalty form.
- We track when one of your books is sold.
- You get paid — via EFT every 6 months.
- No exclusivity. No hassle. No gatekeeping.
- We also tag participating authors in social media when we feature your books — because visibility matters too.
